About the Author

Dr. Foght was born in Akron, Ohio on April 6, 1936 and spent his formative years through undergraduate university in Akron. Obtained his Doctorate in Organic Chemistry, Biotechnology and Microbiology at University of Illinois in 1963. Married to Martha in 1961 and has 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Academic research in pioneering area of biotechnology. Worked in research, manufacturing and marketing for DuPont, advancing to general management in US, UK and Germany. After 23 years moved on to investment banking, venture capital and private equity in US, Europe, Brazil and Japan. Antiquarian book dealer with shops in London and Norfolk England. Hobbies include oil pastel painting, antique books and stamp collecting.
