About the Author

Peter S. Partee, Sr. heads Hunton & Williams LLP’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditors’ Rights Team in New York City, where his practice focuses on the representation of chapter 11 debtors and structured finance transactions as they are picked apart in bankruptcy. He is a 1992 graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, an associate editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review and a senior member of the Vanderbilt Moot Court Board. Mr. Partee received the Turnaround Management Association’s Transaction of the Year Award for a small company in 2012 for his work on the successful chapter 11 reorganization of Raser Technologies, Inc. in the District of Delaware.
