Two years have passed since Milton Baumgardener returned to Kingston, Ontario, after having gone missing for seven years. His presence turned the Baumgardener family upside down. They were expecting Milton to be the perfect father and would make up for all the wrongs. Howard was particularly vulnerable. He wanted badly to have a father that would teach him how to be a man.

The author was born in Ontario, Canada. She as written four novels. A LIFETIME AGO, a family memoir; MRS. ATWATER, an inspirational historical family saga; and ANNA MAY a spinoff from MRS. ATWATER. BESSIE'S STORY is both a sequel of MRS. ATWATER and a stand-alone historical fiction. The author has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento, CA. She resides in the southwest with her husband.
