About the Author

BELLE’S IN THE WIND by Belle Chery is the debut title of my first publication. This creation is an original collection of poems from my adolescence; balancing loss, betrayal, life and LOVE as I struggled to adapt to a foreign Universe with an alien dialect, all while finding myself.
Using creative writing as an effective outlet, my hopes are that, Belle’s in the Wind can help anyone find their inner voice through self expression as I did.
I was always told; I tend to hold things in and I kept to myself, I sometimes felt like I didn't relate nor was I impressed by accepted modern day standards. We can discourse about the Universe, Politics, Education, and the list goes on for hours, but small talk always felt forced and disconnected for me. To even the playing fields, I started writing. I hope this can encourage others to pour out their creative side, even if it's just for fun.
