As we made our way back into the kitchen, Auntie asked me to go wash up in the side bathroom and come back. I nodded and headed towards the bathroom, noticing Auntie bustling around in the kitchen as I walked away.

Satisfied with my answer, Auntie suggested that I gather the required ingredients. "Okay, dear. Write down everything you need in that notebook," she instructed, pointing towards a soft-covered, pink journal with a latch. Curiosity sparked within me as I picked up the journal and flipped it open.
The pages were blank, eagerly waiting to hold the secrets of delicious recipes. As Auntie mentioned, it would be my recipe book from this day forward. Excitement bubbled within me as I imagined all the dishes and creations that would grace these pages.
