These Reflections consist of 106 short essays and stories written over a three year period. The chapters are in chronological order in the hope that this will enable the reader to see the evolution and growth of his understanding.
His initial concept of Generosity was focused solely on one's financial commitment to the church's Budget. Campaign. His early writings illustrate this focus. Gradually his view expanded as he realized there is far more to Generosity than just responding to the offering plate as it is passed.
Serving as Chairman of the Stewardship further broadened his vision. With two successful campaigns behind him, he completed three years on the Session and began to focus on an even broader understanding of Generosity.
He and his wife, Carol Anne, have come to appreciate that Generosity is so much more than just giving money and can be life changing. They invite you to join them on this adventure.

About the Author

Eugene T. Harrison, III ,"Gene", is a Graduate of Georgia Tech with two EE degrees, who underwent a radical change in the direction of his life after being immersed in the Liberal Arts while on a Fellowship at the University of Virginia in the mid 1960s.
Previously Gene has written and illustrated two historically oriented books for children. For 40 years he has been a avid stained glass artist, having created over 10,000 "Leaded Glass Creations".
Following 30 years on the administrative staff of the Medical College of Georgia, he and his wife, Carol Anne, retired to their dream home in the North Georgia mountains, where he has become deeply involved in the Stewardship and Finances of their church for the past 14 years. They have three daughters.
