About the Author

David S. Cochran is a Philadelphia native and a graduate from the University of South Carolina, class of ‘18. With hopes of pursuing a career in medicine, David is currently working as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the City of Brotherly Love. He has been a part of several national disaster relief deployments, including two five-week FEMA deployments to New York City and south Texas, where he found himself working as much as 16 hours every day for pandemic relief efforts. With little breaks, David helped man the frontlines in an effort to keep up with the volume of 911 calls pouring in during these challenging times. Though it has been exhausting, David utilized writing as an outlet to relieve his stress.
