About the Author

Yvrose Telfort Ismael, is a William Jefferson Clinton Goodwill for Haiti award recipient. She is known as Mammy to 37 children born of her heart. She and her husband, Pierre-Richard, co-founded Hope House, the children’s home they established in the aftermath of Haiti’s 2010 catastrophic earthquake.
