Overview

Timothy Chatlos and Michael Knight met when they were both deployed in Kuwait while serving as Public Affairs specialists for the Command group of 3rd Army at a base called Camp Arifjan, in support of (OIF) Operation Iraqi Freedom and (OEF) Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan).
They soon developed a deep friendship and shared goals, ideas, and stories with one another. One evening Tim Chatlos shared his dream of writing a series of Children’s Books aimed at Military children. He already had three ideas and a fourth one brewing. Michael said he would love to illustrate the books.
They formed a partnership and began with Because Daddy is Coming Home Today. This book represents their first project and helps to express the deep feelings of young children at the news of the homecoming of a military parent.
Three additional books are being completed: Daddy’s Boots, My Parents are real Superheroes and Bionic Mom.
