I have already lived a full life. As a Native American Kickapoo acclaimed actress, director, and storyteller, a wanderer to the world around me, my feet are walking the path of my life.

These poems are my life, my loss, my gain, my love, my world, my chaos, myself. They are an integral part of my existence.

My poems tell the tale of how I have been through the heartache of being a victim of a hate-crime, to being falsely accused of a situation that never happened, to having miscarriage, to having an abusive man in my life.

It was during this time in my years of living that I learned about my Native American roots, specifically the Kickapoo tribes and the ancient Mayans. Suddenly I was filled with a surge of great pride for my Nation and I felt more connected with the Earth, the Spirits and my People. I felt that the Universe brought me these blessings.

These poems are about you, what you feel deep inside, of being stuck in a world of chaos, of taking your life.

Spirituality with a spell of poetry. In my universal mind, I created wonderful things, and that wonder is writing. Even with my ADHD and autistic traits, and through many tragedies in my life and path, I was reborn with a new focus: I had to share my experiences and those of others.
