Growing up in a Christian family, I learned about faith at a young age. It was always instilled in me that nothing was too hard for God. I appreciate the prayers from my mother, Celeste and God Mothers Betty and Susie. It ensured that in life storms I did not have to look far for encouragement. I did not have to ask for prayer because it was always there. I am thankful for my sister Joyce for encouraging me to push forward more than she probably even realizes. Lastly, I appreciate my husband Eric for his love and support. My prayer is that this text will encourage and uplift someone who feels like they cannot make it through. You are who you say you are. Do not allow your mind to manipulate you into not walking in your destiny. Do not let the negativity around you echo in your ears. I beat the odds and turned my own obstacles into opportunities.
