After overcoming her own personal challenges, Debra Sawyer began writing and working in the field of Education after transitioning from being a News Reporter for WRWR TV 38 in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Her background includes AA degree in Journalism from Georgia Perimeter College, BA degree in Radio/TV Broadcasting from University of West Georgia, and an M. ED degree, from University of Arizona. During the pandemic she studied to become a Certified Life Coach, specializing in Social/Emotional Health, Social Behavior and Nutrition. Mental Wellness is a subject close to her heart.
