Kaley McKean is a Canadian illustrator with a BDes in Illustration from the Ontario College of Art and Design. She has worked in children's publishing,
 editorial,
 packaging,
 advertising,
 and more. In her spare time,
 she can be found tending to her overgrown garden or hunting for mushrooms in the woods. Kaley currently lives with her partner and fellow illustrator,
 Nolan Pelletier,
 and an array of plants and animals in Toronto,
