About the Author

Diane Hull is a retired Primary School teacher, specializing in the Early Years, who lives in Todmorden in England. Known as "Grandma Duck" to her grandchildren, she is very much in touch with what young children like to read and have read to them. Educated at Manchester Metropolitan University, Diane graduated with a BA (Hons) First Class in Early Childhood Studies and is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.

Jan is an internationally published illustrator. The whimsicalness in her drawings and her use of bright colour stems from her love of animation and children's literature. Her illustrations can be found in picture books, iOS apps, websites, wall art, posters, and more. Born in St. John's Newfoundland and raised in Ontario, Jan studied Fine Art and Business at The University of Guelph. Her studio, The Pink Suitcase, is located outside of Toronto, Canada.
