As the Uniarch spreads colonization efforts into the Savage Sector, one planet they name Trilquen unknowingly harbors monsters originally from DarkTime. How did they get to LightTime?

In Neswāl City, the first colony on Trilquen, General Sketil takes matters into his own hands to destroy the creatures before the Uniarch Alliance stops funding the colony. Backed by a high-end benefactor, Sketil recruits a Manticore to deal with the natives and continues to push into the desert regions, triggering increasing resistance.

The local monsters follow the command of smaller beasts called Towers and some humans suspect they are sentient beings, but no one has ever seen a Tower.

Recently hailing from near planetary genocide, Turstin and Esuna are transplanted to Neswāl for work with General Sketil. Suspicious from the start, the siblings work together to stay alive.

When one Tower is captured by Sketil, time ticks away for a final decision from the two hesitant humans: Do they free the creature and risk immediate, gruesome death or remain silent?
