Overview

These basketweave crochet wristwarmers are crochet in the tunisian stitches that give it a great texture. The sample yarn is a lovely wool & acrylic blend yarn that makes them warm, soft and versatile. I got the idea because I'm usually cold and although I can wear a sweater, my hands always seem to stay a bit "cool", some cute crochet wristwarmers that would keep my fingers warm and free for typing and using the mouse while looking cute when away from my desk. These are perfect.

The styling on these fashion basketweave wristwarmers is unisex friendly. The color you select to make them will determine the recipient.

About the Author

Sedruola Maruska was born in Queens, New York to Haitian immigrant parents, grew up in various states before they settled in New York, then in Massachusetts. In 2002 she taught herself to crochet after meeting her then fiance's grandmother. She decided that if a woman of 79 years could do crochet and more, she could at least one. Thus began her Yarn Obsession. Her first project was a scarf for her fiance.

Since then, her skills have grown. She now writes her own patterns, and is looking forward to more growth in the area of pattern writing and publishing.
