About the Author

Carol Anderson is a retired Registered Nurse and Certified Life Coach. This is her second book on the subject of Buddhism. Her first book, "Under The Bodhi Tree" provided a wealth of information on a number of more detailed subjects. The author chose to condense that work and publish "Basic Buddhism" for those who wanted a smaller version. Eight years of research has gone into the writing of these books.
Mrs. Anderson has spent much of her life in caring professions and this book is simply an extension of her compassionate nature. The author hopes to inspire and enrich the lives of others with her writing.
