About the Author

The author of the Baseline Diet – Scott Fischer – suffered the consequences of obesity for over 15 years. He failed on every diet he tried. He had cholesterol levels consistent in producing cardiovascular disease, demonstrated high blood pressure, and out-of-control blood sugar levels due to his battle with diabetes. His low energy levels included chronic depression and he had a host of other ailments associated with being obese.

Deciding not to buy into any particular school of thought concerning what constitutes a healthy diet led him to research and the discovery of how easy it is to achieve overall health and well being. The author discovered that these medical facts are practiced throughout the world, except in America.

The American diet is, in fact, the only unique diet found in the world. Obesity, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and more are epidemics plaguing Americans only. Why? They are directly related to a diet that is medically proven to produce them.

The development and testing the Baseline Diet led the author to lose over 100 pounds the first year.
