What makes life work? I have often asked that question. And how do you go from living in a ghetto in a small 5 room house with 5 kids and parents, to living in a suburban house with 5 bedrooms and a pool? How do you go from being a downcast minority to feeling good about yourself and succeeding in life? I'm glad you asked those questions; because you may start out as a poor minority, but you don't have to end up that way. I wish there were a magic button that I could tell you to push and all would go well. Unfortunately, there is none. Life is long, hard, challenging, and arduous.
