A collection of 16 delightful projects to handcraft for little ones is what you'll find in this book. They include shoes, hats, bibs, toys and bags, all with loads of cute combined with practicality. All but two are graded as suitable for beginners or confident beginners. Each project is shown made up in a number of different fabrics, and the instructions are first rate, with many of the steps along the way illustrated by helpful photographs. There's also an introductory chapter providing advice on fabric choices and some of the basic sewing techniques used to make the projects. Our favourite projects were the fleece-lined boots shows on the front cover and the baby sneakers, although, given Sue's experience in designing bags (she has previously authored an excellent bag book), we felt that the two nappy bags were also top notch.
