Elizabeth Strout (Portland, 1956) es una novelista norteamericana autora de Amy e Isabelle (1998, ganadora del Premio Art Seidenbaum de Los Angeles Times y del Premio Heartland del Chicago Tribune), Abide with Me (2006) y Los hermanos Burgess (2013), así como de las exitosas sagas protagonizadas por Olive Kitteridge -Olive Kitteridge (2008), ganadora de los premio Pulitzer, Llibreter, Bancarella y Mondello y que se convirtió en una aclamada serie de televisión, y Todo es posible (2017)- y por Lucy Barton -Me llamo Lucy Barton (2016), Luz de febrero (2019) y, ahora, Ay William, con la que Alfaguara inicia su publicación y uno de los mejores libros del año según The Times-.
