Aubrey Arthur and the End of All Magic
The last magician in the world is no magician at all.

Twelve year-old Aubrey Arthur comes from a long line of wizards. Along with her mother, father, and five older sisters, she is part of a hidden community of magicians, creatures, and demigods, who have lived side-by-side with the non-magical world throughout recorded history.

When a mysterious cataclysm wipes out most of the world's magic users, including her parents and siblings, Aubrey finds herself suddenly orphaned in a world with very little magic left in it. Living in her parents' big, empty house with nothing but a glitchy, mute golem and a basement full of inert magical artifacts for company, Aubrey uses what little magic she has left to hide her situation from the mundane world.

But Aubrey isn't the only survivor of the cataclysm, and some of those other survivors soon come calling. A fairy breaks into her house, a horde of zombies attack her after school--and all of that is just the beginning. When someone she thought was dead arrives on her doorstep, she realizes that somewhere in her house is what may be the last remaining source of magic in the world.

And Aubrey Arthur, a sixth grader with very little in the way of magical training, is the only one left who can defend it.
