Purpose: It is intended to provide a concise, readable guide for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of the complex disorder known as ADD. It seeks to provide this information for the different developmental ages and stages from infancy to adulthood. This approach is unique and very useful. The objectives were fulfilled.
Audience: The book is written primarily for primary care clinicians (pediatricians, family practitioners, and general internists). It is also very appropriate for parents and related child development professionals. It should be excellent for residents. The author has an extensive history of working with patients with ADD.
Features: The tables and checklists are quite helpful. The references are excellent and provide a historic perspective. Additional parent and professional resources and recommended readings are particularly useful.
