Even the wise can be fools in love.
Imprisoned in the belly of her father, Zeus, Athena watches as her mother quietly forges her armor and plans for escape. Despite her captivity, Athena longs to please her father.
But once free, her heart is drawn to her father's enemy, the traitor Prometheus, who she later learns has been plotting against Zeus from the beginning.
When Prometheus is condemned to eternal torment for his treason, Athena remains by his side, until Prometheus, in his suffering, pushes her away. Years later, with the hero Heracles, Athena returns to liberate him, only to find her dreams of reunion shattered as Prometheus disappears into hiding.
For centuries, Athena's search for Prometheus proves fruitless. When he finally emerges from the shadows, his plans challenge her loyalties, rekindle her passion, and set in motion events that will forever alter her immortal life.
