The University trained Joaquin Murrietta vowed revenge against every Americano he came in contact with.
Unlike the mythical Zorro, or the legend of the Mexican Robin Hood, Joaquin teamed up through providence or the devil’s chance with Manuel Jack Garcia, better known as Three Fingered Jack, or Tres Dedos, who was one of California’s first sociopath, also bent on revenge in a ‘war’ against the Americans.
Together, this duo of avenging fallen angels wreaked havoc on miners and travelers during the gold rush, from Mount Shasta to San Diego, San Francisco to Oakhurst and all places in between.
After living alone as a killer along the trail he discovers a way to profit from his revenge spree and soon after a growing number of Mexicans, Chileans, Californios join in and follow their Jefe anywhere he would lead them.
