"At B.A.T.T." is a collection of original stories about the Bnei Abraham Talmud Torah in Brooklyn which provided a basic Jewish education for Jewish youth in the period before the rise of the Day School and Yeshiva movement, just after World War II.
Rabbi Abraham Greenberg was the principal of B.A.T.T., a much admired, dedicated teacher and counselor who was devoted to his students and highly motivated to infuse them with the joyous spirit of Torah Judaism.
One of his primary concerns was to teach his beloved students the importance of love for a fellow Jew and the performance of good deeds.
