Overview

Assistant's Dream is a poem about a personal assistant who dreams of all the great things they do not yet have. This assistant however makes too many presumptions and thus gets fired - but, it doesn't stop their dream!

There are five stanzas having sixteen lines each. Each grouping of four lines begins with the the same two words. They rhyme scheme of each stanza is ABAB where the A rhyme is variable and the B rhyme is the same - the B rhyme also is consistent across all stanzas and therefore the B rhyme occurs 5x8=40 times. Also, the A lines are always eight syllables (having emphasis on the 'X': --X---X-) and the B lines are always seven syllables with the same emphasis (minus the last syllable).

The structure of this poem provides for five chapter breaks. Each stanza has had its lines split-apart in order to preserve the intent (the pacing) of each line, and thus each line may be given its own page; there may be instances, however, where managing the evolution of the poem in your mind, some lines have been split into multiple pages, or, multiple lines of a stanza remain on the same page (making it so a page is not necessarily equal to the count of lines of a stanza).
