About the Author

MAZEN ABU-FADEL, MD, is an associate professor of medicine (cardiovascular section) and the director of Interventional Cardiology and the Cardiac Cath Lab at the University of Oklahoma HSC in Oklahoma City. He has published several peer-reviewed papers and was a principal investigator on the largest clinical trials in the country for arterial access.
