About the Author

Douglas is the principle photographer for Live Model Books and the Art Models series of books for figure artists. He is also the designer and programmer for the PoseSpace.com website. While finishing a degree in Applied Mathematics: Physics in 2004, he began photographing models for figure art as a hobby. The in-the-round photos were meant to be used by sculptors who need to see all around the figure. Over time, artists requested other subjects and that led to a whole series of books, disks, downloads, e-books and websites now used by thousands of artists around the world.
