Overview

Arnie and Iknak is a tale of a friendship between an ancient giraffosaur, Iknak, and his new pal Arnie, a Tidbit. Iknak and Arnie begin a journey to discover Arnie's homeland which lies in on fabled island far across the Oceans of Azule. They encounter amazing creatures, wander through strange lands, and overcome obstacles to reach their hopeful destination. The Hill of Ah, the Twins of Ishnar, and the Icefields of Burr are only a few of the places they explore. On their travels though, they discover that sometimes the most important part of the journey is friendship found. Marvelously illustrated, full-color images provide a rich and rewarding experience as a bedtime, read-to storybook for kids 3-9, or as a read-alone book for all ages. Arnie and Iknak will truly be a story they will remember for years to come.

Mark Zel is the nom de plume of author and illustrator, Mark Stritzel, who is excited to bring his wonderfully imaginative characters to life in his first children's storybook. He is an accomplished artist and designer, whose illustrated work appears in many other titles.
