A common theme is how the singers write songs portraying their inner struggles. Shawn Mendes's music reflects his anxieties, and Lizzo sings about body image. Except for their philanthropic contributions to various causes, the texts don't dive too deeply into their personal lives. This won't matter to young fans who will appreciate the colorful photographs and the current information about the subjects' careers.
