About the Author

Raised in Oklahoma City, Roxanne graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. She worked as a production engineer in the oil industry for 10 years both in southern California and then in Midland, Texas, where she met her husband, Bryan. They have 4 grown children ages 19 to 24. She has spoken to over 100,000 people in 4 countries and throughout the USA as a business and motivational speaker. She was a cheerleader at the University of Oklahoma and has found her calling is to cheer on and encourage women While homeschooling her own children, she served in multiple areas of leadership including a 5-year term as director of a large, Oklahoma City co-op. God planted a seed in her heart over 14 years ago to lead a retreat to encourage mothers in their journey as home educators. Roxanne is President and Founder of Winter Summit Ministries, Inc. and has lead the Oklahoma Homeschool Moms' Winter Summit annual event for 6 years. God is now expanding their territory to other locations and providing the opportunity to encourage women around the country. Roxanne is grateful to be a part of what God is doing in the homeschool community.
