Antique Findings is a collection of antique, vintage & collectibles that I have found and sold throughout the years going to garage sales, estate sales, flea markets, auctions, surfing online & acquiring items thru family & friends. I always feel like a modern day Time Traveler looking thru the past, present & ideas/inspiration for the future. Digging thru people�s collections that range from 60+ years and finding some items I would just dream about. There are times that some people let go of stuff from their collections because they have families they need to provide for or they just want to move on and decided it�s time to let things go and pass them on to other people who will appreciate them. I am not an expert on antiques, I just go with my gut and try to learn as much as I could about the items I buy, I usually buy what I like and sometimes the item could be 200 years old or 20 years old.
I�m blessed and humbled by the experience, knowledge and amazing people I have met & learned from along the way. To me that is the best treasure of all, it�s something you can�t put a price tag on.
I hope you will enjoy the items I have found, hopefully it sparks a memory or emotion or plainly puts a smile on your face. Some items of course will be questionable but I will let you be the judge.
Please note this is not a literary book, just a photo documentation of each item that has been found with short descriptions. This is so I can fit more photo items in the book with less writing. This is also not a book of estimated values on antiques as we are not professionals just your average junkers who enjoy everything from dumpster diving, garage sales, picking & enjoying the thrill of finding stuff that excites the imagination.
