About the Author

Bob studied mechanical engineering at the University of Missouri at Rolla as well as Washington University in the early 70's. His career was originally in automotive engineering. Eventually he moved into power engineering after the automotive downturn of the late 70's. He and his wife, Sherryl, are natives of St. Louis, Missouri and reside in the western suburbs of the city. His engineering career has been reduced and writing has taken over.
