About the Author

Caitlin Bowman Martwinski is a prosthetist and orthotist who is passionate about helping kids rock their AFOs! She studied her master's of science degree at the University of Pittsburgh where her research focused on helping kids feel empowered to wear their orthoses. She is excited to share these lessons in this book!

Lindsay Bowman is an art education student currently at Virginia Commonwealth University. She has taught in early childhood and elementary education, and was excited to collaborate on this project with her sister! She hopes all who read this book feel inspired to never stop creating, and that children who wear AFOs may see themselves reflected in this story.
