About the Author

Doree Anderson is a full time writer. Ante Up is the second book in her Paranormal young adult/middle grade series. If she's not writing, she's reading. She enjoys the fictional, fun ghosts and loves to incorporate them in her middle grade stories. She resides in Utah and enjoys drives through the gorgeous mountains. One day, she may take up skiing, but until then, she thinks that travel in a four wheel vehicles will do just fine. A transplant from the middle west, she will always be a Ozarks girl. Doree is happily married(35 yrs), she has a married daughter who has given her four grandchildren to spoil and consult with on middle age conversations and high-jinxs. Doree is the 2011Utah chapter of the RWA President and a member of several writing groups.

Five stars: This book is a great read for young adults. My 9 and 7 year old loved it. Its a great change of pace when looking for a YA book that appeals to boys--which isn't always easy to come buy!
