Overview

This book of poetry was written over the course of a year from 2014 to 2015 as a sequel to 1000 Years at the Bottom of a Well. It is comprised of blank verse poetry arranged in geometric shapes of an existential, surreal and gnostic nature as well as observations of the human condition and of nature. About the Author

Brian H Appleton was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1950 and grew up in Greece, Italy and Iran and speaks four languages. He currently resides in California. He has written poetry since age 11 of an existential nature. His poetry tackles questions about the human condition, nature, spirituality, sin, depression, joy, conflict, peace. Writing and reading poetry he feels is therapeutic. Author is pro-active in support of the intellectually and physically handicapped, in the pro Iran Deal and in human rights. He has two sons both with disabilities. His hobbies include martial arts, scuba and equestrian arts.
