I think this is great!!
It's written really well, and kept me in the story from the beginning. I think you've not only written a great story, but captured the emotions and feelings that everyone goes through with the death/loss of a loved one.

I have to say that this story is one of the absolute best that I've read here on writing.com in almost a year.
