Overview

This is a novel-length story of how Anne Douglas became Anne Swift. It may be read either before or after the novella collections.

While many readers may already know of Anne Swift's exploits as a secret scientist (part time only, please!) for the FBI, the story of how she became a MoBiDet (Molecular Biological Detective) has not yet been told. And, as the old cliché goes, "... until now!"

This story takes her from her years in a private girls high school through her courtship, marriage and the beginnings of married life with the man who would soon become the renown inventor and scientist, Damon Swift, and the mother to Tom Swift and his sister Sandy Swift.

It tells the story of how she was first approached for the job, how she refused to consider it--in spite of receiving a very impressive phone call--and how she eventually decided she was getting just a little bored sitting around the house once her son was in kindergarten and her daughter was in pre-school.

It also tells about her very first case, the people she worked with, and how she managed to stumble on the answer to a very deadly problem.

About the Author

T. Edward Fox is simply another way of pronouncing Thomas Hudson. Pig Latin or something like that…

Thomas Hudson is the author responsible for the New TOM SWIFT Invention Adventures Series and a host of collections of novellas set in the world of Tom sWift. In his Anne Swift stories he has three collections of novel-length tales along with this "biography" novel.

He must give credit where it is due to Scott Dickerson who actually created the character of Anne Swift and even gave her a one-time mentioned past that this author amplified into a lot of words. Thanks, Doxmith!
