The first collection of Anne Swift short stories.
Anne is the loving wife to Damon Swift, owner of Swift Enterprises, and mother to Tom Swift, the famous young inventor. When she was in college and dating Damon, she trained in the field of Biology, eventually earning a Doctorate in Micro-Biology and a Doctorate in Molecular Biology. And, then she got married and put all of that behind her.
Once the Swifts moved back to Shopton so Damon could take over the family business, Anne was approached by a FBI agent. They desperately needed her expertise in a secret underground lab right in her home town. And so, she began a secret life fitting in several critical cases each year during the day when the kids were at school, and got home to be wife and mother in the evenings.
This is the first three stories written about her exploits. They are not her actual first three cases and many are still classified as SECRET. It is just that these have been declassified.

The Microbial Murder Mess--Anne is presented with a large number of plastic barrels all filled with goo that turns out to be decomposing bodies. Furthermore, they are clones but evidently from some bizarre experiments gone horribly wrong.
The Nast Nuclear Nodules--When a construction worker uncovers a cache of glowing blue orbs and sneaks one home, it is the last thing he ever does. His body is discovered, partially dissolved with the orb in his lap, Now, Anne and her team have to find out both what it was that caused this as well as find the original source of the deadly spheres.
The Scary Scroungy Scrofula--Homeless people in Seattle have been dying. The only connection between them is a strange man they all seem to have met. Anne receives several survivors and now must find a way to save them while discovering what it was that has killed others. When she finds the mystery man, the mystery deepens!
