Overview

Twenty year old Anna lives with her family in a small cottage in a pretty Alpine village. This picturesque village is known for skiing in winter and golf in summer. Anna works at a knit shop and is inspired and coaxed by her co-workers and friends to enter a fashion show and contest that features three other well known designers.
Anna's idea is to meld American Western style with the beautiful and sexy dirndl dress, resulting in a lean, practical, modern interpretation of an Alpine favorite.
Unfortunately, there are some evil people involved in the local fashion business. They cause Anna some insurmountable problems.
Anna's best friend Heidi, who happens to be a very fashionable in a youthful way, is a powerhouse of energy and has a razor-sharp mind. She and Anna work hard to put Anna's fashion designs on the map. Heidi also provides the hula hoop.

About the Author

My writing is a verbal manifestation of my music, painting, sculpture and poetry. These are different currencies in my creative world. I may in fact reside in Lalaland. Yes I do.
At a young age I wrote poetry and humorous short stories. I credit Anton Chekhov for influencing me to write in a concise brief style. Irony is my friend.

I drove a cab in Manhattan, then I worked on Wall Street for a prominent stock brokerage.
Infantry man in the 198th. Light Infantry Brigade stationed in Vietnam. I formed a rock band and entertained the troops.

Lobster pound keeper and lobsterman on Penobscot Bay in Maine.
Captain of two sardine boats. Mississippi River boatman on the largest towboats on the river.

Founded winery and vineyard called CELLARDOOR WINERY. www.mainewine.com
Owned Bed & Breakfast in Rockland Maine called the OLD GRANITE INN. www.oldgraniteinn.com

Made flame-cut steel sculpture. Two of my works reside in the collection of author Stephen King.
Oil and watercolor painter.

Shipwright specializing in fine woodwork on many vessels here and in Italy.

Now I write stories. I've lived the research. It's really fun to create imaginary worlds that are based on reality. Could these stories be true? They are to me and they will be to you.
