About the Author

ReJean Johnson is from the Midwest. The 5th of seven, ReJean was treated harshly as she was looked upon as the "Black Sheep" of the family due to her having a different father from the other six children. Her mother, who was emotionally disturbed, took her frustrations out on ReJean. This abuse eventually led to her developing PTSD and later, Major Depression. ReJean took solace in books and excelled in college, after escaping from the abusive environment that she endured. Her saving grace was the "living angels" God placed along her path to help her survive and thrive. Angels Among Us is the story of how ReJean overcame child abuse and mental illness to live to tell you that you can make it, too. Just don't give up!
