Enter 'Fred the Fantastic' to save the day. Fred is, of course, Sarah and Simon's new dog; a Golden Retriever, who being a genius can speak three languages (dog, angel and human). Whether he can help 'Mum' and 'Aunty Clarabelle' sort the mess out that they've got themselves into, though, is quite another matter!

About the Author

Julie always loved to write as a child but it never occurred to her that she would be an author one day. Instead she chose a career in advice, support and homelessness where she worked for many years. Alongside this Julie has always had a strong interest and draw to all that is spiritual, mystical and magical. Insightful and with a desire to move further towards balance, in 2000 Julie left her career in housing, relocating to Cornwall and retrained as a Hypnotherapist. Her priority was firstly to her young daughter and to devoting her time to pursuing her passion for her therapy work. In addition Julie wished to further expand her interest in all that is spiritual and to share her knowledge gained over 30 years of study and exploration with others. Alongside her hypnotherapy she began teaching spiritual awareness and development in 2002.

She wrote Angel On My Shoulder in 2011 and immediately began working on the sequel Angel In My Heart which she completed in 2014. Both were published in September and October 2014. However, in June 2015 Julie decided to leave her publishers and form her own publishing company J.P. Publishing. She had both her books re-edited and re-formatted, with new covers and republished them in July 2015 under the titles 'Angel On My Shoulder (Sarah's Story)' and 'Angel In My Heart (Clarabelle's Story.' Her third book, 'Angel in My Fingers (Frieda's Story) was published at the end of July 2015. Book 4 in the series ‘Angel In My Paws (Fred's Story)’ is due to be completed in 2015/16.

Julie’s books have a chatty conversational style and whimsical humour that appeal to all age groups. They take a light hearted look at angels and our relationship with the esoteric as well as examining our personal hopes for love and romance. They provide deep insight into individual personal growth as well as focusing on romantic love, the ups and downs of life that each of us encounter along our paths and always end with a happy ending and the essential feel-good factor. Julie’s books deal with modern life, its challenges and drama’s, hurts and pains, hopes and inspirations, but always written with compassion and humour.

Julie was born in Cardiff in 1963 and was brought up between Cardiff and Aberystwyth until her late-teens. She went to school in both areas as well as having a brief spell in boarding school in Shrewsbury. Julie spent her twenties in South Wales, her 30’s in Gloucester, Bristol and Hereford

After reading the first book, I couldn't wait to read this one and it certainly didn't disappoint! Yet again, the antics of the Angels had me laughing and at certain points, reaching for the tissues! You really get to love all the characters and the dog is an additional source of humour. These are the best books I have read in a very long time, I hope they are made into films! Julie, get a move on with the next one please, Im having withdrawal symptoms already!

Angel in My Heart by Julie Poole lets us continue our journey with Sarah as she takes on a new life as a newlywed and motherhood. Of course, Sara's guardian angel Clarabelle is still by her side but is a bit distracted with a love of her own. I can't say any more than that without taking away from the reader's experience. There are a lot of twists, turns and unexpected events some happy and some will make you cry. It is a journey well worth following.
