As a wife of a navy pilot, I saw the wonder and pride in the eyes of the children and grandchildren of the pilots serving our country. Patty Monfeli was born with 'itchy feet" so being a military wife has been an excellent fit. Born in the north, but raised in the deep south, she even learned from the disparate cultures found in the United States. The military life taught her the sacrifices of the men and women who serve our country, but also the family's price paid and the pride earned.

Now retired, Patty and her husband still enjoy traveling the world. "Travel is fun, but home is where I live, love and draw my strength."
