I read this book from cover to cover in one sitting, enjoying every moment. The book transported me back to when I was a young woman who loved to ride and race and who seemed to find trouble. This is the sort of book I would have loved reading as much then as I did now. This Andrea Carter book, as well as others in the series, pull together the ingredients of a page-turner for those from elementary on up, early American west, horses, mystery, and lots of trouble mixed in with faith, family and fun. A good read with memorable characters and a page-turner story.
