The story emphasizes heartfelt moments between father and son of acceptance, love and support no matter what. This book is inspirational for children of all ages to be themselves, to follow their dreams and to communicate with parents and loved ones about their feelings, desires, or adversities.

About the Author

Born in a small-town in Sicily in 1954. I am the youngest of six children. I lived in a farm environment, where my father grew almonds, olives, grapes, various vegetables, and fruits. As a little boy I stomped on grapes with bare feet to make wine. In 1962, we immigrated to America and lived in Brooklyn. I did not speak English, did not have friends and I was bullied by other kids, but I persevered to succeed. I wrestled, played handball, soccer, and racquetball in school. I served in the US AirForce as a technician on fighter jets. I write poems and short stories. I love to travel, swim in clear calm seas, and have exotic drinks on the beach. I speak three languages. I've been married to the woman of my dreams, Anna for 38 years. We have two wonderful children, Amanda and Sebastian.
