About the Author

A Dallas native, Frankie Hallum has spent many years cultivating his craft as a vocalist, producer, and writer. While studying music at Prairie View A & M University he had the opportunity to sign a recording deal with Motown Records in the early 90's. Frankie later toured nationally with gospel staged plays. He has traveled as a tour manager, actor, singer, and promoter developing relationships throughout hte world. Many of these relationships include playwrights and movie producers like Tyler Perry, David Talbert, radio personalities Carla Johnson, Nephew Tommy of the Steve Harvey morning show, and actress Kim Fields,. He has worked closely with Mary, Mary, Dottie Peoples, Johnny Gill, Melba Moore, Shirley Caesar, The Winnans, and many others. Frankie has been honored and blessed with the opportunity to be a part of black history. He has seen the remarkable development of black plays coming from the once called chitterling circuit to a now multimillion dollar, NAACP award winning industry. Frankie is proud to have been a part of a pioneering group of innovative men that has created ways for black entertainers to make a living and to be seen on national stages across the country. Being molded by the gospel staged plays; Frankie displays his talent in his debut novel 'An Intimate Day's Shadow'. It is an intriguing story of how one day of intimacy can shadow you for a lifetime. It promises to brink you laughter, tears, and an exciting amount of drama. You will also receive chills from the melodious R&B soundtrack CD and upcoming stage play 'When A Woman Loves A Man'.
