Overview

As an immigrant, I have a unique insight to all the changes that have occurred or are occurring in this nation. The divisiveness that has been resulting from the politics recently has really had an effect on the way we are dealing with each other. The time for an honest assessment has come. Without one, we will all suffer. As a citizen, is it my right to speak up. Maybe what I say will give someone food for thought.

About the Author

As an immigrant who arrived in the United States in 1949, Liudas Cesnaitis grew up here seeing much change. With his parents, they had a short stint living in Canada, before returning to the best country they have known. Liudas became a citizen of this country; as such, he feels it is his privilege and his right to speak out. Every citizen has that right, even if what we say does not fall into the beliefs or likes of others. Liudas lived a full life and is now retired. The time has come to speak out.
