About the Author

Timothy J. McGuire was born in Detroit and still lives in the State of Michigan. He is currently employed by Ford Motor Company as a Stationary Steam Engineer.
He graduated from Grosse Ile High School and attended Monroe County Community College, Henry Ford Community College and Eastern Michigan University.
From an early age, he had an intense interest in the Colonial and Revolutionary War periods of the Americas, especially the Great Lakes Region. He has spent over 50 years researching and studying these time periods, the people who lived in them and the artifacts that these people used. He has also done extensive field research, metal detecting and map studies regarding this subject. This book is a condensation of these studies.
