Overview

"An Experimental Test Pilot's Story" is the third book in a series written by Lt. Col. N.C. "Bud" Evans. It is the story of the continuation of his incredible career as an experimental test pilot. While his first book, "Aviating With Evans," explores his early years as a military fighter pilot, "An Experimental Test Pilot's Story" picks up the equally amazing aeronautical adventures he experienced after leaving the Air Force to work with the military astronauts on the Manned Orbiting Laboratory program, representing General Electric. This begins a series of extraordinary projects, which included developing and testing experimental aircraft outside, and in conjunction with, the military arena. Col. Evans invites you ride with him in the heart-stopping, exciting moments that span decades of aeronautical evolution.
